  1. Improved character customization

    It would be nice that you could choose a full spectrum of skin color for all races. Also able to change facial and body features. You should be able to recreate yourself in the game.

    • Quick Swap Talent (AKA: Making Hybrids slightly more viable)

      So even Divinity: Original Sin doesn't exactly handle hybrid classes too well... and even among the hybrids they almost always Physical + Magical.

      Yet builds that combine Man-at-arms and Ranger don't mesh almost at all and Scoundrel and Ranger work "ok" together.

      This Talent when you take it allows you to swap weapons without a AP cost either at the start of your turn, or only once at any part of your turn.

      It could have a obvious requirement of having two (non-magical) disciplines at level 2.

      Yet even this talent, on its own, doesn't exactly "fix" this issue but…

      • Monster Compendium

        Give us a Monster Compendium like in "The Witcher". You'll find Books around the world give you information about, (or maybe NPC's will tell you), different strengths and weaknesses of the Monsters. Also the books can give us a beautiful background story where the Monsters come from and why they're here.

        • Please not just monster encounters in the wild

          Maybe it's already on the plate of Larian designers, but just in case.

          Please add more variety to encounters and not just hostile encounters.
          If a game world should feel alive there should be more to just running into hostile creatures.

          The main problem I have with most encounters in RPG in the wilderness games are:

          - enemies fight almost always to the bitter end.

          Most intelligent beings tend to run or beg for mercy when the tide turns against them until they have good reason to belive the players don't spare them thanks to a bad reputation.

            • Traits : Clearer system

              As we are playing to D:OS EE, we feel that the traits system is a little messy. There's no clear idea of what's gonna change during interaction, and how, and even when.

              The big idea would be to put an information of how a trait is gonna change during an interaction.

              The second issue is the "number" of traits and how little they change over a game. I went through a complete gameplay having only one or two point for a specific trait. So either reduce the number of traits or rationalize them all together.

                • Rewards for not stealing and not being defeated

                  There is a great fun in trying to beat the game without ever being defeated. It gives the player a sense of pride and also involves the player to be part of the universe more. To try to exploit every game mechanism to reach the (very difficult) goal of never being defeated until the end of the game. Witcher 2 tried to do this with insanity level, but they did it in the wrong way, because in Witcher 2 you could die even from stepping on a fire. So it was stupid even trying to do it. Instead Original Sin…

                  • Felicia Day to join D:OS 2 as a Voice Actor

                    Felicia Day tweeted she was excited for Divinity Original Sin 2.

                    A few of us got to thinking, why not ask Miss Day if she's willing to do some voice acting for D:OS 2?

                    Since she has done voice work for big titles like Fallout: New Vegas and Dragon Age 2 before and she is loved by all.. Why not ask Miss Day to join D:OS 2 as a celebrity voice actor?

                    • You can loose your companions in the war

                      How many games where you can feel the toll of the war? Not many if any. It would be kind of a new milestone to make a game, where you get to feel for a character (relationship between characters and story development) and then that character dies in battle possibly and you cannot do anything to bring them back. There are different ways to introduce this. You can loose a companion in crucial battles, you can be forced to choose who to help live and who to let die (mass effect style), or based on your previous choices and preparations…

                      • Mods allowed so people have the choice between realistic armors and classic fantasy with bikini armors.

                        It's not very cool for a game company to ditch old fanbase to satisfy a new, so leaving mods possible for those who want to use sexy armors is a great idea, while the people who prefer conservative armors can use them too.

                        • Same sex romance? (Love/Hate stretch goal)

                          I have a slight concern about the love/hate stretch goal which has just been reached. When adding romance, most games restrict themselves to straight only. Personally, I would like to see more possibility for same-sex romance (both for M and F, don't just add lesbians because fanboy service). So, my question is: Would you consider adding the option for same-sex romance?

                          • Weapons should have more characteristics for deeper strategy choices.

                            Depends on which weapon you choose your skill & normal attack effect will be different.

                            1. different default weapon characteristics for each weapon type. examples
                            - two handed weapon has knock down chance by default
                            - one handed weapon has 'attack twice' chance by default
                            - shield has crushing damage & knock back(push) chance by default
                            - crossbow can penetrate enemies in a line. limited penetration & redeced damage by each penetration. Spcaial arrow affect first target only(Or second target just warm effect instead of burning?) If blocked in the middle, no penetration any more..
                            - bow shoots high-angle fire…

                              Being able to restart the campaign or a different game mode with your character and see it grow further is one of the things that made me enjoy classics like "Neverwinter Nights" and "Disciples II" even more.

                              It would be nice to see DOS2 added to the list

                              • A living world - Battles amonag groups of monsters and npc guilds for their economic profit and territory.

                                They move with strategy for their own good. Player will be involved with those dynamic events as part of the groups or a competitor.
                                (ex. quest from local govenor to secure trade route - or escort trade cart- from a monster tribe's invasion. Or quest from thief guild to kill the governor to weaken local public order)

                                This will make player feel the game more alive, and real interacting with game world.

                                  You can create a good-sized variation on looks using D:OS's character creator, and there are absolutely nowhere close to the amount of portraits to match those looks. Adding in every possible variation of portrait would be an enormous task, and that was for D:OS 1, which only had human PC's.

                                  So rather than instead of making a piddly number of new portraits, how about something to solve the problem at its source?

                                  I'd like an automated system that can capture the face of a character which you've made in the character creator and make a portrait from that. Ta-da, you…

                                  • Cutscenes and other cinematic mechanisms

                                    Open world RPGs sometimes suffer from lack of cinematic "uau" moments (even Skyrim). An example, in Ego Draconis the moment when the hero has visions of being a dragon, the cutscenes and the flight in Damian's realm - that is breathtaking artistically, the dragon statue, the lava veins etc. No ingame system can do that - cutscenes are needed to describe a large scale scene. It can be used, to describe the villain, the war, the toll of the war, romances, crucial story moments (not everything can happen before the eyes of the characters).

                                      A skill may magnetize two objects(always N and S).
                                      When there are multiple magnetized objects, two objects may pull or push each other if they are close enough.
                                      Every crashing objects get crushing damage while objects pushed or pulled each other (if one is weapon, the other will get weapon damage)

                                      Same polar objects cannot approach each other when they are in effect range.

                                      Magnetized status may piled up to strengthen the effect power and range.

                                      Magnetized status will be removed if times over, two different magnetized status object touched each other or opposite magnetic…

                                      • Whips as a weapon choice! Leather/Metal/Magical.

                                        Whips as a weapon choice! They were implemented really well in Shadowrun: Hong Kong and I want more whip related evisceration in my gaming life. In Shadowrun the whips were cybernetic and they came out of your arm which obviously doesn't exactly translate over to Original Sin.

                                        Leather whips would work though, metal whips could maybe work and magical whips made out of fire or lightning would definitely work in this setting! If weapon choice is ever a factor in dialogue, you could also do some fun things with a character using a whip. Not all of those things would…

                                        • Remove Back-stabber Talent: All daggers can inherently backstab.

                                          In D:OS 1, Daggers are only worthwhile weapons while backstabbing. Their damage output from any other angle is essentially a waste of AP.

                                          Because of that, it feels a bit unfair to force dagger-users to spend one of their precious Talent points on a required skill. Fighters don't need to spend a Talent on "how to hit people in the face", Rangers don't need to spend a Talent on "can hit a target at 6 meters with a bow", Mages don't need to spend a Talent on "How to cast a basic spell".
