  1. Monster Respawn

    I would like to see encounters outside of the set battles. You don't want it to be like other games where you walk three steps and get in a fight. But, every so often you run into random undead, or thieves, or something. Without battles like this if one of your people dies, then they are behind the curve until you find another set battle.

      i just finished original sin and i really loved it, but at the end of game i felt like kinda empty cause i culdn't do anithing more with my team.
      With this i want to say that it wold be nice see some extra quest and storylines(bosses, some puzzles, hidden chests...) even when you broght the peace into rivellon

      • Make digging up dirt piles have more variety/risk/reward.

        Often in DOS we dug up a chest. Exceptions were church or graveyard where ghost enemies spawned. That was fine. What if occasionally it was a stair or tunnel to mini quest, mini boss/questgiver or dungeon. Even doing that once or twice would add so much excitement & tension to an otherwise relatively mundaine game activity with little additional development cost.

        • Compression Wave(Activated Spell)

          Compression Wave(Activated Spell): The mage chooses a direction, and starts focusing on the spell. It takes two turns until the mage is ready. Until then, the mage is unable to perform any actions without interrupting the process.
          The spell sends a wave of compressed air in the chosen direction which causes (blunt) physical damage, and tumbles those that it hits. Additionally, causes fire damage, and is a fire based effect when interacting with the environment.

          Due to the rapid compression, the air particles heat up before they could move away due to diffusion. This results in a layer of plasma…

          • Cape/cloak/mentle

            First off, thanks for listening. Me and my friend played Dos:ee alot and alot, each time I would find a pair of boots or gloves that didn't match my current outfit, which was fine. But at some point you do get a set together that I would love. Only I couldn't help myself to picture with that outfit to have a cape as well. To complete the whole set. Now I know putting in capes or cloaks isn't easy at all. And I am not asking either to put stats on them, just pure visual. This might be a long…

            • Movable/Craftable Furniture

              I know I'm not the only one who wants to kill everyone in a nice house and make it my own, it's something we all find fun and entertaining.
              All the fun ends whenever I want to MOVE a bed, a big sofa, etc.
              I like Homestead, but I want to be able to have multiple or my own chosen home!. Make Furniture Movable, Craftable, Etc.!

                • Additional Language Voice Acting (Spanish, French, Japanese, Etc.)

                  I love how the voice acting sounds!, Its wonderful!.
                  What I think most would love more, it's the voice acting in our native language!.
                  We humans tend to fall easier to what we already know, so we might fall more in love for the game if we hear it in a way we are used to, our native languages :)
                  Jokes more funny, scenes more immersive, players more in love!.

                  • Reuse music from DOS

                    especially little used tracks like mysterious guest, add letimotives (recurring themes) of original game to the new soundtrack

                      My biggest problem with Dos was the speed, esp the fighting.
                      It would have made the experience so much better with the option to skip fighting animation, or speed it all up.

                      • Multiplayer Co-Op As Good as D:OS

                        The main reason I played the D:OS was because it allowed me to play my favourite genre of game with a friend in which we were BOTH the main characters.

                        Please don't make this feel like me or my friends are having to be shoehorned into a role we don't want. I doubt they'd enjoy playing a character they didn't make as a "companion" instead of a lead, and neither would I.

                        • change the appearance of a character specialized in an element.

                          in D: OS, with the "Demon" talent, the player could go over 100% of fire resist, and get healed by fire. It would be awesome if a charactere could physically turn into an elemental of fire/ice (or any other element) when he goes above 100% resist. not huge change, but something like red eyes, ember fingers and/or ember mark on the face.

                            • Better And More useful and varied talents/abilities for rp types talents removed and combined.

                              I've been playing this game awhile and some of the definite main problems and turn offs is the lack of variety of talents, types im looking for, or just downright useless ones, lack of the abilities I want to roleplay, many utterly useless talents and the good ones getting nerfed to oblivion, I'd like to suggest some here.

                              I actually always get to the point in the game at level 7-11 that I just don't even want anymore talents as they are worthless

                              • Defeated, but not killed random opponents (PC ability)

                                Discouraging Strike(Ability): Does 75% weapon damage. If the target's health would have dropped below 1, he/she/it instead flees the battlefield, never to be seen again. The target drops regular loot, except body parts. Can be used against most types of enemies.

                                Not every opponent deserves death in my opinion, and I would've been delighted to be able to spare whomever I could in the original game. I think such ability would only serve role-playing purposes. Still, it might be invaluable to those who care about it.

                                  It would be Great to be able to change Your UI. As a Mage in 3 differents elements, I'd like to be able to see ALL my skill without changing my bar number every time.

                                  • cities grow dynamically as time passes

                                    Most RPGs feel static despite everything because time does not affect anyone but the pc. Have forests be cut down, houses be built and other changes occur in the world as time passes. Even better, have this occur procedurally / dynamically as though you were an independent unit playing an rpg while someone (AI) was playing an RTS / city builder above you. I'm actually going to build a game with this Point of Difference so I will be a little bit gutted if you steal this idea.

                                    • Legendary and Divine items, should not be sold at vendors.

                                      There is nothing more rewarding after a tough and long boss fight, then looting up a nice legendary or divine item.

                                      With that in mind, there is also nothing more demoralizing and disheartening, then going back to a town vendor, selling out the excess gear you found only to find a divine belt with better stats being sold for pennies.

                                      • Make all arrow types craftable (freezing arrows and smokescreen arrows, I'm looking at you)

                                        Most arrows were craftable, but some weren't, like:

                                        -Fire arrows
                                        -Freezing arrows
                                        -Smokescreen arrows

                                        Please don't let it happen again; I'd love my ranger to be a true elemental master :)
