        • More Role-Playing Options

          More role-playing options and skill / stat checks.
          Chance to avoid combat with other skills (bribing, smooth-talking, etc.).
          More dialog options in general.
          More factions. More choices with consequences. Hard choices.

          • An expanded crafting system.

            The first system was nice but it would be nice to expand on the idea and maybe get a skill or 2 more for crafters.

              • Customizations for the protagonist

                It would be great if we could change a bit more the physical appearance of the protagonist, and if it can affect the story or the gameplay, it would be even better.

                I could also be a consequence of the points attribution : lot of strength = big arms etc

                • Killing shouldn't be the solution for everything

                  As other games before maybe it would be more interesting to have more options in the game beside of killing every foe the party of heroes are meeting.

                  Maybe some people could be convinced to switch sides, others maybe flee if enough of their companions are defeated and maybe some coin could flip alliances.

                  This would also lead to the point where xp isn't focussed on battles and quests but could be distributed to the player characters via exploring, finishing riddles, crafting and such kind like in other new games out there.

                  Maybe the pc's and their reputation could influance…

                  • Maybe NPC Schedules this time? :)

                    Fully, Ultima 5,6,7 like NPC schedules. NPCs using their environments, like beds, chairs, doors, tools. Going to work, going to tavern, sleeping...simply living their own lifes. A real world simulation. I don't know if the D:OS2 engine will be able to manage that, really hoping.

                    • Own castle (guild) builder - with resources, blueprints and regular defence

                      Add possibility to obtain and manage own castle (village, guild) - with elements of RTS games (resources management, building, crafting) and defend it from AI.

                      Defense - build wall and towers around your castle. Upgrade them from blueprints that would be founded across game world. Recruit and put soldiers to defend your castle. Level up them and craft new armor and weapons for them.

                      Craft - recruit blacksmiths, mages that will try to craft weapons and spells for you. You can place different exotic orders or give them blueprints.

                      It should be lore-friendly.

                      • Darker and more brutal world with black humor, violence and psychological thriller story

                        • New Game Plus

                          A new game plus mode similar to Dark Souls. Tougher enemies, more enemies, special new enemies/items only available in NG+. You would keep all non-story items/weapons/spells after completing the game. Maybe the option to fight bosses multiple times in NG+.

                          • Super secret special area + boss (strong one!)

                            As a stretch goal, I would love a very secret area which no one will find about early on, where we can find a big boss that we can face. I love when you come back to the game after ~2 months and you discover a new area with an insanely hard to defeat enemy!

                            • Hand-placed loot

                              Randomized loot, while great for games with randomized areas and monsters (like Diablo) is not suitable for true RPGs. Hand-placed items are both more satisfying to obtain and can also serve as an element of world and story-building. Please consider ditching loot tables in favour of putting the loot into the hands of designers, and letting them show their creativity also in this area.

                              • Hard Moral Choices

                                There needs to be a tug on emotions with some dark (not necessarily evil) choices that really make you sweat at choosing between what is 'right' vs what is needed.

                                • Import save with events from DoS/DoSee

                                  Be able to have some of the events and decisions from the original carry over to the new one.
                                  Doesn't have to much just enough that you would catch it if you are looking for it, things like NPC chatter or books.

                                  • Multiple endings and romance with followers. Would love to see an ending unique to each relationship.

                                    I feel that romance in an RPG is important because relationships is what makes the world and npcs feel real. Traveling and meeting new people is half the fun in an RPG and cultivating those relationships is what makes it a unique experience for each player. Having an ending for each possible romance or friendship will give the player a sense of an end game accomplishment and that all your "hard work" payed off. Of course, the gameplay and other aspects of the game should be polished as well.

                                      • Character customization (slim/bulky, etc)

                                        More character customization. Particularly something like being able to play a slimmer male version, unlike in D:OS 1 where you were forced to play a bulky tank of a dude even as a sorcerer.
